After years competing as an Olympic gymnast, Kris has taken his talent and knowledge and moved from the arena into the head office.
After retiring from active sport, Kris moved behind the camera in the entertainment industry, joining the team of Portal Entertainment and Elitha Peterson Productions. The next year was spent in production leading a team to critical acclaim in directing the Blueprints Arts & Entertainment Festival and developing independent documentary series on emerging Canadian artists. This was enough time behind the camera, for he then joined the world famous Cirque du Soleil as a circus artist appearing in the production of Alegria and as Assistant Artist Director of Dralion.
Since then he has had a varied career creating, coordinating, directing and organizing live events and productions.
During the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Kris was the Senior Manager of Ontario Premier McGuinty's marquee receptions Ontario House. Kris was also an integral part of the success Toronto 2015 Pan Am Bid Committee working on the Communications Presentation and Media Teams.
For the last four years Kris has been the Associate Producer of "It's Always Something", the major fundraising event for Gilda's Club of Greater Toronto. This evening of comedy, music and dance has become one of the marquis events on the social calendar, drawing amazing talent each year like Anne Murray, Brian Adams, Eugene Levy, Jann Arden, Eric McCormack and Russell Peters.
